The movie Kites, featuring Hrithik's most sensuous role till date. He stars opposite US-based Spanish model Barbara Mori. The film is about an Indian boy's romantic affair with a Latina girl and their predicament as they do not understand each other's language. The film is about love transcending cultural and language barriers. In the movie, Barabar Mori's character speaks only Spanish and Hrithik, a salsa teacher can't speak a word of Spanish. So he speaks to her in Hindi and yet the two communicate and fall madly in love. But then something happens that forces the two to split and that's where Kangana steps in, and there is a love triangle between them. Towards the end there is a thriller twist to the story. The base for the story is on an American dance competition where both Hrithik and Kangna are Americans of Indian descent. Kangana's role is not bigger than that of Barbara's. Kangana plays a very rich girl and is also Hrithik's dance student.
